Aspergillus spp., Cryptococcus neoformans, Pseudalescheria boydii, and some gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococci and Streptococci are also susceptible.Hydrocortisone is a synthetic version of a naturally occurring glucocorticoid. It plays a crucial role in skin injuries such as inflammation. Antipruritic, antimycotic, and vasoconstrictive properties are also present.

Miconazole is an imidazole antifungal drug that inhibits ergosterol synthesis and thereby changes the permeability of susceptible fungi's cell membrane. When administered to the skin, Hydrocortisone kills fungus by being absorbed into the skin cells. It works by preventing the release of specific molecules that cause inflammation. As a result, hydrocortisone helps to lessen inflammation.
